Courage for the Extra-Mile!

It opens doors, it creates friendships, it brings
about new possibilities! Where would we be today
if Semmelweis had not taken the "extra" time to
wash his hands?!?
Where does this request come from? In Mat. 5,41 it
is written : "… if anyone forces you to go one mile,
go with them two miles.…". Jesus goes against
common sense of that time with this message.
What does this mean for our everyday lives?
How can it be possible? 72 hours a week, 4 night
shifts, always motivated and kind to the patient …
and all of this times two? That’s totally crazy!
An unpleasant feeling rises up. Isn't burnout
inevitable? Or does the Extra-Mile make my life
worthy and full of adventures?
Where do I gain strength?
We want to deal with this field of ideas and
extremes through lectures, seminars and personal
exchange of experiences. We also want to discover
together which Extra-Mile is reserved for your
life.
